Which scanner

Brother's updated ADSe desktop document scanner remains something of an also-ran. HP Sprout review - hands on. Brother ADSW review. Brother's ADSW is a good value portable document scanner with some nice features, but rivals have better software.

Kodak ScanMate i review. Good software and great scans make Kodak's i a good document scanner. Epson WorkForce DS review. A convincing, keenly priced sheet-fed document scanner, but it's not the best. A useful and highly portable document scanner with good OCR software, but we're not convinced it needs Wi-Fi.

Canon Canoscan F review. Canon ImageFormula P review. If you tried to pay via Braintree and received an Order Failed message, this is usually due to the address and postcode on the bank card not matching the address and postcode entered into the checkout process.

Please double check the address on your bank card and retype. The address entered into the checkout process should match the address on any bank statement exactly. This is to prevent fraud. Alternatively, a card may be declined due to a spending limit applied to the card or registered bank account. Please also check this before continuing. The Scanner Shop accepts payment via Purchase Orders. If you wish to use this process, we advise you to select the scanners that you wish to purchase and add them to basket.

The basket page will display the total fee required, including VAT and delivery charges. Once you have this figure, complete your own company purchase order and send via email, with detailed product breakdown, to sales thescannershop.

Thank you. Yes, in fact nearly all modern scanners are 'duplex' scanners. These are scanners that will scan both sides of a page at once. Furthermore, if one side of the document is blank, then most modern scanners are complete with 'blank page detection', meaning they will not display you any blank pages.

Any 'simplex' scanners are labelled as such in the product description. If you have ordered a product, but realise within a 14 day period of receiving it that you no longer need it or ordered in error, then you can of course return the item.

Please request a returns form from sales thescannershop. In this case, the scanner must not be used. Scanners have an internal scan count and we cannot resell a scanner with a scan count of 1 or above as "A-grade" or "new" stock. See below for further details. Our returns policy is strict and we do not offer full refunds for scanners that have been used, as they cannot be sold as new to another customer.

A consumer is permitted to handle the goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. This level of acceptable handling means the kind of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a shop.

Customers will therefore be responsible for the amount by which the value of the goods are diminished as a result of a customer handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

I scanned a diploma, and the scan looks just like the physical copy, so much that you can see the paper grains.

This scanner is even more compact than the document scanner above and about an inch shorter , and reviewers love the size. I can leave it on my desk, plugged in to my computer via USB and not even think about it being there, until I need it. So far I scanned over 14, sheets, some of them full two sided pages, some were as small as a cash register receipts. It takes pages in almost any size.

It also works with a variety of software. You can view, zoom, crop and select pages to save directly on the scanner interface. On top of all of its little perks, this scanner also just works well. Reviewers who need double-sided documents catalogued say this duplex scanner cuts their scanning time by half. The scanner only keeps the pages with content.
