Definitely a place to hike in winter. Or any time if it was Ireland. Rapids are always at their best during good rain.

Bells Rapids hike reminds me a little of San Diego area hikes. The winter or spring are better times to hike because you will get the chance to see more water flowing in the falls and springs.
